You can sign up for to check it out as well at hondaclarityevent.com As we have the Clarity Fuel Cell I wanted to see what the differences are and overall there's not many as far as exterior and interior design. Range is approx 89 with Fast Charging standard which will give you 80% charge in 30 minutes. The backseats fold down unlike in the Fuel Cell version. The opening between trunk and backseat area is quite small however. See video. The car takes off like a rocket. A light front end (engine compartment only about half full (see video) and lots of torque equals burnouts galore even at 30mph plus. This Electric version seems more nimble and lighter than our Fuel Cell. Our acceleration is more fluid and not throw you back in seat like pure electrics with lots of torque. Also the doors seem heavier in our Fuel Cell. If you can make the shorter range work, as far as the quality of the vehicle goes, you won't be disappointed. Will be lease only. As of 6/11/17 at 12:30p the lease price will be $269.00 per month for 36 months, 20k a year, 1999 down including first months payment + tax and license. Car qualifies for $2500.00 state rebate in California and HOV access.
