My family lost our home in Snellville GA and we need to figure out what our next move will be. Two of my daughters were home when it occurred with our family dog and they weren't prepared for it. This happened around a time when I was starting to get my life together and we were all getting our lives back on track. I am sharing this video and story in efforts to gain support to help my family get stable again. We need fund for a new security deposit because the house we lived in we were renting. The fire occurred primarily in the garage but it did spread into the kitchen destroying a few things. The clothes were damaged due to smoke/smog and water so we will need to buy new clothes. I do have 7 children in total but only 5 living with me. I lost a van in the garage and will need to work on getting a new car in due time. I will also need some funds to move my family and the furniture that is "salvageable". We would also like to be able to help the owner of the home repair the home anyway that we can since we were renting the property. I am still in shock about all this happening and don't know what options I have. The red cross was able to help us afford a hotel room which totaled up to 900.00 for one week and that was hard to deal with considering I had myself and 5 of children in one room and the hotel manager gave us a hard time about that. It is my goal to stay within the area where my children go to college and high school so we found a hotel up the street from my children's school to keep them close. I am so worried about what is going to happen next. I do appreciate all the support from anyone who shares this GoFundMe page and is reading this. I want to be able to get back to a stable setting.
