How To Apply Beard Balm
Beard Balm is like beard oil’s little sister. It’s not popular yet but it is growing more popular as more and more people are learn about it. Most beard balm’s take a few minutes to melt between your fingers because they are stiff like wax but not our balm, our beard balm is like butter. It’s easy to apply, smells great and it’s not oily.
Beard Balm is one of my favorite types of beard conditioners. I love to use my beard oil in the shower as conditioner after I wash my beard. After I get out of the shower and dry off a bit, I apply my beard balm to my beard while it is still a little damp. Just like Beard oil, Beard Balm moisturizes and conditions your beard hairs and the skin beneath. When used regularly, beard balm will improve your beard’s appearance, texture and managability. Beard balm contains nutrient rich oils and butters that can help strengthen your beard hairs and help prevent split ends which in turn helps your beard hairs grow longer.
It is possible to use too much beard balm so you want to apply the right amount without wasting it. You want to use the right amount of beard balm because you don’t want your beard to be dripping with the stuff but you want the right amount to be able to do the magic that it does. So here is the proper way to apply beard balm:
1. Use your pointer finger to scoop out a pea sized amount of Beard Brothers Beard Balm.
2. Put the balm on your palm and rub it in a cirular motion on your palm until it melts. Get some balm on the fingers of your opposite hand and work your fingers up into the skin underneath your beard.
3. Rub the palms of your hands together work the rest of the beard balm into your beard. (It’s best to focus on the areas that have the most tangles)
4. Groom your beard as desired. Non-tangle brushes, boars hair brushes and beard combs are all good options for grooming.
5. Remove any excess balm from your hands. We suggest rubbing any excess oil into your hair or just rinse your hands with warm soapy water.
6. Have an epic day know that your beard is now looking and smelling amazing.
Beard Balm can be applied daily if you feel the need to use it daily. If your beard is naturally oily then you probably will apply beard balm every other day. If your beard is normal to dry, then you may want to use beard balm on a daily basis.
Be aware of the different types of beard balms. There are many brands of beard balms out there. Look for a beard balm that contains higher quality oils, like argan and jojoba. There are quite a few beard balms out there that are mostly beeswax. There is nothing wrong with beeswax but it’s not going provide your hair and skin with many nutrients.
