Here is a step by step tutorial on how to assemble a mini Home Cinema computer (HTPC). I've used the following hardware:
Case: Antec Micro Tower ISK310-150 mITX, 150W
Systemboard: Asus E35M1-I Deluxe E-350, SATA600, HDMI
Memory: Kingston 2x2GB, DDR3, PC10666, CL9
Dvd-player: Samsung DVD-/+RAM SN-T083C 8x/8x/5x Slimline, Slot-in (black)
Harddisk: Western Digital Harddisk 2.5" 750GB, SATA300, 5400rpm, D7500BPVT
You'll also need to install the program XBMC which is free and opensource.
