This isnt a new process however there was still people in on the forum that didnt know this was possible and were telling people that a full rx was required and that's not at all the case.

DSM2: set spektrum_sat_bind=5
DSMX: set spektrum_sat_bind=9
do not forget to turn sat bind off (set spektrum_sat_bind=0) once you're bound!
