This is a quick tutorial on how to capture footage from a mini dv camera or a tape deck. This requires a firewire so if you do not have a computer that has firewire you will have to upgrade. I am using a HDV FX-1000 in this tutorial on 24p settings. Make sure to check what your camera format is to be sure you are using the correct settings.
