do the same steps you did for the androidscreenvision except you open droid@screen. (droid@screen is only for screencapture) its better the screencast because it auto opens in scale, clear and sharp image.
use you Grab app or screen snip tool on the mac to get the shot.

Unless you are really trying to make a connection to your android to control it like switching home screens and scrolling and etc. I would recommend using Airdroid and or Mobisynapse. both apps are on Play Store. Its allows you to take screen shots and msg through your browser and connect wireless to your device. Its lets you do a TON more so check those apps out for forget this method explained in the video. Huge head ache and slow frame rate anyway.
