I honestly thought this was random the whole time. So is there a possibility that other things in the game are not so random as well? Are there frames in the animations that trigger outcomes in fishing or training?! This is an exciting find.
I tried to compile as many 25% boosts as possible, but sometimes I just wasn't able to record on video. It's also difficult to do even when you know the timing.
TIP: You can hold down the button and just release it on the correct beat. This way you have 1 less motion to worry about.
