Henry tackles his first challenge of the season: Build a snowboard in one day for under $100. The rules are...
1. Design and create the snowboard under 24 hours with a $100 budget
2. All materials must be from Placemakers
3. Snowboard bindings permitted.
In what some may see as an ambitious goal, Henry enlists the assistance of Jamie from Placemakers to design and build the most epic DIY snowboard ever in just one day. With next to no trade skills and a restriction on power tools, the task seemed almost impossible. However through true grit and a love for the sport, Henry emerges victorious with a snowboard that actually rips and looks bloody amazing too.
MATERIALS USED:
9mm Ply
Latch bracket
Tiny Screws
1500mm rope
15cm length PVC pipe
Binding inserts
Binding bolts
Paint for graphics
TOOLS USED:
Hand saw
Sandpaper
Drill (countersink bit for binding inserts)
