WHAT YOU NEED:
A yellow box cake or personal yellow (or white) cake recipe.
12 OZ can of evaporated milk
14 OZ can of condensed milk
1 CUP of half & half
DIRECTIONS:
1. Bake cake to specifications of the box you buy.
2. Let it cool!
3. Once cool, poke holes ALL OVER CAKE.
4. Mix all three 'milks'.
5. Pour mixture over cake.
NOTE: I usually use this WHOLE mixture on one cake which is a bit excessive but my boyfriend likes it REALLY sweet.
So this time around I split the mixture in half and poured it over two 9inch round cakes and the cakes were equally moist. Unlike when I use the whole mixture on the whole cake and the bottom half ends with all the leche(milk).
I found this recipe online. I understand there are other ways to make this type of cake but this is super easy and it tastes great!!
