This video shows the steps Patti followed to make her own natural sunscreen by adapting a recipe from http://www.WellnessMama.com
The original recipe called for beeswax for waterproofing. Patti doesn't spend time in the water, so she skipped that. She may include it in the next batch, though, as it might firm the mixture up a bit more. As it is, she can probably apply it using a roll-on applicator.
The recipe can further be adapted by using a different essential oil for fragrance (or none at all), and by altering the amount of non-nano zinc oxide powder to raise or lower the SPF.
Patti purchased the Lavender essential oil from http://www.BeeYoutiful.com, and she purchased the other ingredients (plus the jars) at http://www.CamdenGrey.com
