Sansevieria or snake plants are evergreen perennial plants from the family Asparagaceae. It is native to tropical West Africa. It is commonly called as Mother's in laws plant.It has stiff leaves grow vertically from the basal rosettes.It is highly tolerant to low light conditions, irregular watering and in winter months needs very low water. It mainly spreads through creeping rhizomes. It can well be propagated through leaves and it's cuttings. It can well be grown as house plant.
