This is a Denim Therapy tutorial on how to remove candle wax from your jeans.
Wax on... Wax off!
Renee: The other night I was out at a swanky bar and a candle spilled all over the front of my new black Nudie jeans. (booo!)
So now we're going to recreate that for you. We took a pair of black jeans and spilled some candle wax on them, which leaves an embarassing looking stain. Now we'll remove it.
I peeled off as much dry wax as I could from the jeans. If you put your jeans in a baggie and put them in the freezer, it will harden the wax and make it easier for you to peel off. Then put a piece of paper towel on the inside of the jeans beneath the wax stain. Put one on the outside.
Take an iron and press on a high setting. You will iron out the wax as it soaks up onto the paper towel. Repeat on the inside if needed.
That is how to get wax off your jeans!
