Casting a class to your TV
Let’s get set up! You’ll need your phone and TV.
1. Install your Chromecast using the instructions found inside the Chromecast box.
(You can skip this step if you’d like to work out directly from your laptop.)
Plug your Chromecast in your TV’s HDMI port.
Attach your Chromecast’s USB cable and plug into a power source.
Navigate to the HDMI input your Chromecast is in.
To set up your Chromecast, go to https://chromecast.com/setup and follow the instructions there. The Chromecast setup process will take several minutes.
Your Chromecast is successfully installed when you see “Ready to cast” on your TV and “Chromecast is ready” on your phone.
2. Download the ClassPass app and login.
You can go to your profile and take a photo that will appear on the leaderboard.
Go to videos and choose an on-demand workout.
Enter your gender, date of birth and weight.
Add a fun detail about yourself as your tagline and hit next.
3. Pair your heart rate monitor.
Snap the plastic piece to the black adjustable strap.
Place heart rate monitor directly on skin, below your chest, or underneath your sports bra band. (Tip: Moistening the black pads on the interior of the strap improves connectivity.)
Tighten the strap until it’s snug enough not to bounce around, but not so tight that it’s uncomfortable.
Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your Wahoo TICKR heart rate monitor to the ClassPass app.
4. Click “Cast”, then check to see that your heart rate and position on the leaderboard are displayed on your TV.
Tip: Check your workout space. Having a 7x7 space is a good rule of thumb for the lunges and burpees you’ll be doing!
