Sharing my preferred method of soft mounting my mini-quad (done) flight controller. Soft mounting your flight controller is an excellent idea to ensure that the gyro on your board is free from unnecessary noise, leaving it with cleaner days to feed into its PID loop. It also means reducing your filtering, leading to lower latency in this PID loop processing, and thus, potentially better flight characteristics and responsiveness.
