Hello Paul here from PRwilson Media here with another free social media training video. This is twitter counter.com a fantastic way for free to see how you are doing in terms of twitter followers, how your audience has grown over a period of time , even compare yourself against other users and accounts that you know of. And all of this without even needing to sign on. Let me show you how. So this is the page www.twittercounter.com and it says check your own stats for free. I am. If you fill that information out and click show me it will ask you to authorize and then submit a couple of details.
But actually if you just go to the search box here where it says show twitter users and put in your username you can immediately get , it's very quick to process a graph you see there and if you scroll down below that if it comes up that's right where you are in the standings for the worldwide followers. So I am now 382,000th in the world.
Take another account that I use - totalnetworking that's a business account that I manage, the networking group and you can see how their followers have progressed and they are somewhat further down the track at 1 million 495 thousand. But of course you can compare two different accounts on the same graph , so I can compare myself against that one. You can see them side-by-side. So yes, I suppose if you've got a little competition going with your friends. There are of course professional features, professional stats and lots of other things that you can get from it but I'm just going to keep it simple and keep it to the free version and you can see there they are tracked against each other - you can change the period of time so you can go say back to the last 3 months and click apply So it's instant , it's very powerful and as you can see more growth in mine than totalnetworking.
