Tutorial on how to use VPN (Virtual Private Network) inside IIT Kharagpur Campus. This allows you to bypass all restrictions and use apps like WhastApp, Messenger, Clash of Clans, Siri, Mail, FaceTime etc. and use restricted websites on your iPhone.
To do so, follow the video or the steps given below-
STEP 1: Download 2 Apps from App Store- OpenVPN Connect and WinZip.
STEP 2: Go to Settings and inside 'OpenVPN', turn on 'Enable Proxy' and enter the Host as '172.16.2.30' and Port as '8080'.
STEP 3: Open Safari, go to 'vpnbook.com' and tap on 'OpenVPN' tab, copy the password.
STEP 4: Open any one of the servers, tap on 'Open in WinZip'. You will be taken to WinZip.
STEP 5: Select the tcp443 file. (In case you don't see it, tap on "Try for free" in Winzip, go back to Safari and then select a server again). Tap the icon on the top right, Select 'Copy to OpenVPN'. You will be taken to OpenVPN.
STEP 6: Tap on '+' icon and enter ID as 'vpnbook' and paste the password copied in STEP 3.
STEP 7: Turn on 'Save' and turn on the switch below 'Disconnected'. It should connect in a few seconds and say 'Connected'.
NOTE: The password keeps changing in around two weeks or so, if it does there would be an error saying "Authentication Failed".
Go to vpnbook.com again and copy paste the new password.
