This video shows how I modded a Hubsan H111D Nano Q4 5.8Ghz FPV quadcopter (aka drone) to replace the original lens with a wider angle option.
The lens I used as a replacement is:

As noted at the end of the video, the original and modded fields of view are 36 and 85 degrees respectively. Some people might be surprised that the FOVs are so low, especially the modded FOV. Bear in mind that a camera's FOV is a function of both the lens and the sensor. At time 1:15 of the video, I show that the sensor is absolutely minuscule, type 1/6" or even 1/8" I'm guessing. This lens is probably generating an image at the focal plane that is larger than this sensor, i.e., some of the projected image is being lost and wasted.
Cheers!
