Hello everyone! This is a unboxing and flight review of the new Hubsan X4 H107C! I had waited a long time for this little quad to be released and now that I have it I couldn't wait a day longer to fly it!
If you already own a Hubsan X4 H107L you will only see a few changes in this model. One of these changes is that it now carries a small video camera beneath its belly. It records in standard def and I can barely notice any sound recording. If I listen very hard and turn up the volume on my laptop I can make out that it did record sound. I don't know if this is a problem with only my qaud or all of them. Anyways, no one really records sound using a multi rotor because you will only pick up the motors zipping around.
Another thing you will notice is that the motors are larger and the battery is larger as well. This with the addition of a camera makes the Hubsan X4 H107C almost 50 percent heavier than the H107L. She still climbs and has a top speed similar to that of the H107L but she isn't as nimble.
The video camera is ok for what you pay for. The frame rate is fair but the colors seem to fade in and out. Because the H107C is easily blown around by the wind and she likes to fly fast the video you record never seems as nice as with perhaps a larger quad. I would buy the H107L If you were not really interested in recording videos. If you are interested in recording videos I think the V959 does it better with its stock camera for about the same price.
Over all this little quad is a blast to fly! The price is good and the construction is solid. She will fly great in doors as well as out side with a flight time around 6 minutes. You can make adjustments to your quad from the Tx like shutting off the lights, disabling stunt mode and switching from normal to expert modes which I find useful. Solid buy!
If you have any questions about the H107C please feel free to post comments on my video. I will try to respond as quickly as I can...
