HUMAYUN'S TOMB COMPLEX
Humayun's Tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi.
It is located in Nizamuddin East(Delhi) ,You can take metro and get down at JorBagh metro Station on yellow line or you can hire a Cab.
Nearest Railway Station is Hazrat Nizamuddin(Delhi).
Timmings: 6 am to 7 pm (all days open)

Indian Visitors - 30 INR
Foreigner Visitor - 500 INR
Humayun Tomb is a World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO in 1993
It was built by his wife Hamida Bano Begum in 1569 designed by a Persian architect Mirak Mirza Ghiyas.
It was the first Indian Garden Tomb on the Indian Subcontinent.Also, it was the first structure to use red sandstone at such a large scale.
An interesting fact is that Humayun's Tomb is the inspiration to the iconic TAJ MAHAL which was built a century later.
There are more than 100 graves of mughal family members in the entire complex, earning it the name
'DORMITORY OF THE MUGHALS'
