OTTO's machining capabilities include the most up to date equipment including 5 Axis CNC, Rapid Prototype and in-house injection molding.
By fully utilizing our Hurco 5 Axis CNC machine, we've developed methods to machine parts from customer driven complex geometry files, providing high tolerance and extremely fine finishes.
Process verification through EdgeCam files ensure no mistakes on the first run and potential cycle improvements can be made while the machine is running.
Our team of experts is able to reduce operations by programming with EdgeCam CAD/CAM software to perform actions on multiple sides at one time allowing us to finish 95% - 99% of the part within the first operation. In this case most parts are completed in only two operations; reducing expensive fixtures and assuring the accuracy of the part. The CNC trunnion and rotary table adds 2 axis of rotary motion, allowing for a full five-axis motion of the piece part, reducing interference and eliminating potential collision zones.
This is a fast and efficient way to provide low volume complex product development or rapid prototyping. It allows us to receive files with complex geometries directly from our customer -- and with little or no enhancements, load them directly into our system for a clean spec driven part.
