Runn, Falun/Borlänge
Lake Runn – A delightful skating paradise for the whole family with 62.5 square km of clear ice and ploughed tracks ranging from 1 km to 50 km. Runn is ideally situated between Falun and Borlänge, and you have access to the sister cities’ large selection of lodging, culture, shopping, attractions, sports and outdoor life. The easiest place to start the trip is in Falun at Främby Udde or Roxnäs. You can hire skates here too. The Runn Winter Week is held annually in February, and as its name suggests, it is a week of skating contests and events.
