Ok,
So here is my effort for today:
My Iconic-X FPV Quad finally took to the air this evening.
All done in a hurry so:-
The motors aren't balanced.
The KK2 flight controller is straight out of the box.
The ESC's are Plush 30As (flashed with BLHeli firmware).
The motors are a set of cheap ($22 each) 2810Q 750KV from China.
The props are Gemfan 10*4.5 Nylon/carbon.
The camera is my GoPro Hero HD2 (that was held straight on to the airframe by a rubber band ).
I was expecting lots of jello on the video but it actually it came out fine.
Flight performance is encouraging: - It's got lots of lift.
Punch the throttle indoors and you're going to hit the roof!
It's on 3S - I won't be needing 4s for this.
The longest flight was nearly 15 minutes on a 3S 3700 pack.
It moves better than my TBS discovery. (It feels a lot lighter).
Can't wait to get it kitted out for FPV .
