Uber and Lyft continue to operate illegally in Houston,TX despite the Houston City Council and even Mayor Annise Parker acknowledging them as an illegal vehicle-for-hire service. These comments were taken from a recent city council meeting where Uber and Lyft drivers testify that they know that they are operating illegally. Insurance policies do not cover illegal activities! It is unfortunate that we will all have to experience another Sophia Lui tragedy to wake everyone up.
