Is etiquette a part of image consulting? How important is it?
An image consultant must know everything about image from head to toe, including body types, camouflage tricks, face shapes and corresponding hairstyles, correct hair color, which style frames for glasses, the best shoes and accessories, and the colors and styles that suit a person, their profession and their lifestyle.
Etiquette comes under the big umbrella of image consulting. It is a skill that can be learned easily, so image consultants who are just starting their business often rely on etiquette classes for a source of income. Other image skills require much more hands-on training and study: choosing makeup colors, accessories, body language, hair, shape of glasses, shape of face, and color psychology and color analysis.
Color is the cornerstone of image consulting, and it requires the most study and practice in order to train the eyes to truly see color.
