I've often seen Rayman get written off for a Smash Brothers roster slot due to people not seeing the potential to warrant his inclusion. And I do see where they are coming from, he's a very simplistically designed character whose games are more about the worlds he's running through, rather than what he himself can do.
But don't sleep on Ubisoft's mascot! The sheer fact that he doesn't have limbs opens up so much unique potential that ONLY Rayman could fulfill!
