The Mega Science & Technology and Industry Expo was organised by Vijnana Bharati with support from the Ministry of Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, Government of India from 4th to 8th December 2015 at IIT Delhi campus. The Mega Expo on a grand scale was organised in a spacious venue, spanning over 70,000 square feet in India’s pioneer institute IIT, Delhi.
The Expo was inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, Government of India, Dr. Harsh Vardhan on 4th December 2015 in the presence of Prof. Ashutosh Sharma, Secretary, Dept of Science & Technology, Dr. Vijay P Bhatkar, Chairman, BOG, IIT Delhi, Prof. Kshitij Gupta, Director, IIT Delhi, Shri A Jayakumar, Secretary General, Vijnana Bharati and other leading industry representatives, exhibitors, students and the general public. The IISF expo experienced in all 209 stalls including pavilions with participation from various Ministries, wide range of R & D organisations, manufacturers, both big and small and representation from various Councils, educational institutions and PSUs. The Ministry of S & T and Earth Sciences and various state S & T Councils were at the forefront in creating awareness with respect to the advancement of S & Technology.
