In this video I show how to make a drawknife. A tool for the woodworker.
The work I am going to do it is made of D2 steel. The steel become stesdy with 700 degrees to get rid of tension, leaving cool one hour.
I heat up to 1020 degrees during 6 minute, and then cool down with oil. Stabilize one hour to 200 degrees.
The pin is finished with an 8000 grain stone.
The handles are made with olive wood, It's the first time I use a lathe, finishing with linseed oil
