I perhaps found this day the hardest day of all because the rejection/racism was apparent on this day. My husband`s mum refused to come to the wedding and even though its now a year ago, she still refuses to see him or even speak to him.
I was very proud and moved by my husband`s courage on this day. Thanks to all our amazing friends and family for trying so hard to make up for all the grieve and pain that we had to go through.
I am pleased to say that a year on, in are more inlove and our love grows stronger.
To anyone out there in a similar situation, I would say follow your heart. I am glad we both did!!!
