A few years ago I had bought my first drone @djiglobal Air2S and was looking for the perfect place to fly in my area but since most of Beijing has flight restrictions due to government areas my choices became limited. So I got to thinking, what better place to fly than the Great Wall!?
for this trip, I had originally planned to photograph sunset, the Milky Way, and sunrise! I planned ahead for a nearly a week in advance and on the day of my trip, the weather began to show changes.. there was going to be a rainstorm. ???? ???? but I wouldn't let this stop me, I was determined to still go!I packed the car and set off for the adventure anyways. I was going to be camping on the Great Wall! ????????
After arriving and finishing my hike to the top, within 30 minutes it quickly began to rain heavily and the wind was blowing strong! This continued ALL NIGHT. My plan for sunset was shot and any chances to capture the stars were looking very slim.. but at least I would still have sunrise!
Overall, it was an amazing experience to spend the night at the wild Great Wall and I can't wait to do it again!Who wants to go camping on this amazing Wonder of the World!? ???? ????????
