The HobbyKing Micro JU-87G-1 Stuka has only a wingspan of 685mm. It is a sweet tiny park flyer with many notable details, but it is not an easy-to-fly model. The stock motor needs a powerful battery with high C value. And its flight characteristic is only stable at the high speed range. If the motor power comes to the lower area under half throttle, the plane will become very incalculable and it can stall to a side suddenly. In this case every landing attempt becomes an adventure.
I disabled the Y-adapter for aileron and setup the aileron servos for combined aileron and flap usage, so that I can also use the aileron surfaces as flaps. But as you can see at the end of this video, I have not got the desired result yet. The small stuka is still extremly unstable at low speed.
But for all that, its appearance in the air is absolutely amazing. The best close passes are between 3:20 and 6:02.
