This is my progress through my first year of tricking.
0:00 Spring 2016: Straight Garbage. I only knew one tricker at this point, Sean Kausek @seankausek. I had been lightly into parkor for about a year at this point and had back flip and side flip down but knew nothing of tricking. This is where I learned some kicks and the idea of combos.
0:39 Summer 2016: Pupil. This is where my good friend Weston @westonl2 got into tricking and sparked me to get better since he progressed super fast. I started watching tricking samplers and tutorials on YouTube and actually started trying to refine what I had and get some new tricks.
1:50 Fall 2016: Revelation. My first tricking gathering was NEO4. After coming back shell shocked at what tricking really looked like (I only knew one real tricker at this point) and having seen Michael Gutherie in real life, I pushed harder into training. I went to my second gathering, New Heights, in So. Cal. in Nov.
2:56 Winter 2016: Gametime. After going to another gathering I was lit with passion. I purposed to level up. I had a lot more video of myself as I was focusing on improving. This is where I got cork.
5:16 Spring 2017: Dedicated. I refined my training even more. Having moved to So. Cal. at this point I got to be around a lot more trickers since I'm close to San Diego. I've never leveled up so fast here. C9, TDR gainer, btwist hyperhook, webster, and tastier combos came here.
7:27 Today: Basic Moves: Single kicks and tricks.
8:05 Today: Combos/ NEO 5 Sampler: The best I've got at my level. Ok, I got lazy and didn't stretch the week before this so my kicks are less precise. :)
