Parts List:
Rail: 1 each Appropriate length of 1/8’ x 1.5” width steel
bar/strapping
7 each or appropriate number of ¼”x20 carriage bolts with ¼”
washers and nuts. (I used 7 on a 6’ span.
7 each ¾”x ¾” long cut pieces of PVC pipe for spacers.
Barndoor Hardware:
4 each - cutoff pieces of steel strapping at 7” long
4 each - Plastic clothes line pulleys
4 each - ¼”x20x2” carriage bolts for wheels
8 each - ¼”x20x1” carriage bolts for mounting to door
16 each – ¼” washers for door mounting
8 each - ¼” washers for wheel mounting
8 each – additional ¼” nuts for mounting bolts to metal bracket before wheels go on.
4 each - ¼” Nylon lock nuts for wheel hardware assembly.
I also painted the rail and brackets black over the blackener. I used the blackener for more of a "primer" in case the paint gets scratched it wont show through as bare metal.
