I noticed that there were a lot of youtube videos regarding British and American accents. I wanted to show a glimpse of the diverse accents of the United States, so I made a short compilation of them.
Feel free to comment/discuss/argue so long as you remain civil.
Note: the Casablanca video is a Transatlantic Accent and again Lil Mama is speaking in a Brooklyn Accent. Ebonics is a dialect. Furthermore, it clearly states in the end of the video that NOT ALL ACCENTS IN THE USA are REPRESENTED in this video so it is stupid to say ________________ accent was not shown in this video. Most of the accents here are the individuals person's natural speech. Lastly, many states in the USA are huge (ie Texas is the size of France) so it is OBVIOUS that there are many accents in one particular state. Reba is from rural Oklahoma so that's different than someone from Oklahoma City. Metropolitan cities are vastly different from rural or smaller cities.
