There's a lad living in the beachside town of Mullaway who posesses some very handy skills with a backpack full of Posca pens. Beneath that afro of curls is an artist's brain brimming with radical ideas, colours and positivitly.... his name is Jimmy Wags and Im stoked to call him a new mate and to now have some of his fine work hanging in my house.
His work is inspired by the ocean, colour and goodtimes a perfect fit to a perfect lifestyle. We wanted some of his art brighting our days, so I went found a perfect canvas for him to work his magic on. I stole a 7-foot single fin board out of my brother's shed (thanks bro) and Jimmy got to work on a Noosa Heads (more specifically, Little Cove) scene, which is a favourite holiday spot of ours.
We decided to do a "timelapse" video of the entire process which took around 2 and half days to complete. While I was busy editing photos in the studio, Jimmy was getting to work on the master piece. Check the 2 minutes video that shows in super fast motion the two days of work....
