I changed the FCB of my JJRC X1 to an SP F3 micro as I was fed up with the jerky movement and unwanted direction changes. I also changed the receiver to a FlySky A6, and guess what, the range has doubled and I could also say goodbye to the yaw lag!
And of course now I have several flight modes including horizon and acro, so my quad now can do flips.
The PIDs are not final, the flight characteristics will be better once I fine tune them. Because the FCB is 10DOF my X1 will have height hold ability once I tune the PIDs of the baro.
