◾ Schedule Computer Based Test (CBT)
To apply must be 18+, a US Citizen with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent. Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered with the Selective Service System.
Computer Based Test (CBT)
◾ 2.5 hour exam
◾ Used to see potential employee’s compatibility with TSA standards
◾ English Proficiency Test and Image Interpretation Test
TSA X-Ray Exam Preparation
The image interpretation test provides images of different luggage that have gone through an X-Ray machine and ask to identify objects such as guns, bottles, drugs, shoes, or electronics.
English Proficiency Exam
Tests basic rules of English grammar, syntax, usage, and sentence and paragraph organization.
Post-CBT
◾ Email with score sent within 14 days
◾ If successful: submit Standard Authorization Form and Credit Card information
◾ Complete the National Security Questionnaire E86

TSA Hiring Process Insights
