I mention in the video that I used a laboratory-grade balance to measure these packs. The scale in question was a Mettler-Toledo XP56 Microbalance. I also talked about doing some "statistical analysis" of the weights... but I got lazy and decided not to, sorry! The packs weighed (in milligrams), starting with the lightest: 16,266 mg, 16,258 mg, 16,290 mg, 16,297 mg, 16,330 mg, 16344 mg, 16,442 mg, 16,457 mg, and 16,551 mg. The average weight for the packs was 16,355 mg. Packs weighing equal to or greater than 16,442 all had holographics, with the heaviest pack (16,551 mg) containing a... great card that I don't want to spoil.
So, it will obviously vary from set-to-set, but it seems to me that especially if you're using a high-end balance, you can very clearly weigh out packs and get some great results. I think it's a pretty unfair thing to do if you return the low weight packs, but it's fun to experiment with as long as you're not hurting anyone else's chances at pulling holos!
