Raw plantain / Ethakka – 3
Turmeric powder - ½ tbsp + ½ tbsp
Salt

Grease the palms with some coconut oil and peel the plantains. (The peel can be used to make upperi)
Leave the peeled plantains in the water for 10 minutes.
Add ½ tbsp turmeric powder and salt to ¼ cup water and mix well.
Drain the plantains and pat them dry.
Thinly slice them using a slicer.
Heat oil in a pan and gently drop the slices to the hot oil.
