Ingredients:
Potato - 3 big (boiled, peeled & mashed coarse)
Onion - 1 big
Ginger - 1 big piece
Garlic - 6 big cloves
Green chilies - 6 to 7
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Red chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Water - 2 1/2 glass
Tomato - 1 small
Coriander leaves
Garam masala - As per taste
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 2 pinches
Salt
Oil
Steps:
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter.
Add cumin seeds, thinly sliced onion, crushed ginger, chopped garlic and slit green chillies.
Once onions become translucent, reduce the flame and add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilly powder and pepper powder.
Once the raw smell of masala powders are gone, add chopped tomatoes and salt.
Add mashed potatoes and water.
Add chopped coriander leaves, garam masala and bring it to boil covered.
Once the gravy thickens, turn off the heat.
