Every time the window wipers clean his apartment building, this enthusiastic cat tries to help out from inside.
Two-year-old Guinness is normally shy but springs to life every ten weeks when the cleaners get to work on his central London flat.
Owner Rina Takei, 35, has filmed Guinness swaying side to side in sync with the entertaining workmen on their every visit since he was a kitten.
She said: 'The window cleaners come about every ten weeks and Guinness can always detect their coming and will patiently sit by the window looking and waiting.
'Guinness is a very shy boy, he doesn't seem to like tall men and if they come into our house he will run away and hide.
'He will only tolerate other people who visit on a regular basis. But that said, he hasn't been afraid of the window cleaners ever, even though they are tall men!'
When Rina and her husband moved from Japan for work three years ago, they had no idea how much their London window cleaners would feature in their lives.
Guinness might not be interested in the view of the iconic MI6 building across the Thames but he sure loves the people who make sure it is in clear sight.
The black cat is just one half of Rina's Instagram account, @rina-takei which is followed by an eye-watering 74,000 cat fans.
Guinness shares the flat and limelight with his younger and generally more active companion, Pimms who watches on as the workmen are met with two black paws.
Mrs Takei said: 'My other cat, Pimms, is a very naughty and friendly ginger and is not even a year old yet.
'Guinness is a bit of a spoiled child with a very gentle temperament and is a little shy boy until the window cleaners come.'
'His behaviour is very interesting, I must admit.'
