I contacted the co-worker who borrowed my mixer for several years
and was able to get it back from him.
It is still working with no issues yet.
I compared this mixer vs the Home Depot, i liked that this one was not sheetmetal, therefore less chance of corrosion and dents. The one from Harbor freight looks too small but could be a good one.
i say this because i have gotten very lucky with many industrial tools from there.
