My name is Kyle Pearce and this is the story of why I started DIY Genius and my learning journey over the last decade building our online learning community.
I talk about my background in digital marketing, doing video marketing for big technology companies, building DIY Genius into a successful self-directed learning website, and the flow psychology and behavioral design that I teach in my online programs.
I'm an entrepreneur, growth hacker and behavioral designer based out of Vancouver, Canada. I spend the winters traveling in South East Asia and Europe running nature retreats and working from coworking spaces and startup incubators where I travel.
I'm passionate about how the Internet is changing how we live, work, and learn. That's why I started DIY Genius.
I believe with the tools we now have on your smartphones and laptops, the best way to learn is by creating a personalized lifelong learning roadmap and then learn by doing by treating your career like a startup and sharing your creative talents with the world.
