The Lafayette F-990 is a full size circumaural professional grade consumer stereo headphone set that was produced by Lafayette Radio Electronics (defunct company since the early 80's) in the late 60's and early 70's. The headphones feature vinyl cushioned headband and thick ear pads for extreme comfort along with 3 1/2" paper cone transducers that produce a full 20 Hz to 20KHz rated response. The F-990 has a semi open design with a port on each side (wikipedia).
