REVIEW
Today I'm testing the LT105 / Lantian 105 micro quadcopter, kindly supplied by www.hobbycentre.co.za. Running Cleanflight on an F3 EVO Flight Controller with a FlySky PPM receiver and a micro camera/vtx combo. Flown using JJRC 400Mah 30C 1s batteries with stock 8520 Chaoli Motors.

BUILD
Building this quad is super easy from the ground up and there are a few videos online already that show you how so I won't cover it in this review. This FC is already loaded with the latest version of CleanFlight so no flashing of firmware was necessary. The only tricky part is knowing what goes where on the FC. If using PPM, use the GND, 5V+ and RX2 pads on UART2.
FLIGHT TEST
This quad is extremely nimble and responsive, making it sound like a juiced up mosquito. The ladybird props give it plenty of agility and enough lift for some decent punch outs but we also only tested this unit using 1s 3.7v 30C 400Mah batteries. This FC is capable of being bridged to support 2s batteries as well, which would make this quad insane fun to fly.
Having the space to fit a full size receiver means you can get serious distance with this little quad and you are only limited by your FPV setup.
Only two flights in however, a collision with a thin branch snapped one of the motor mounts clean off at it's weakest and thinnest point. This will need to be addressed by the manufacturer as the impact was not all that hard, in fact the motor and prop are in perfect condition, the carbon fibre is just far too weak around the motors and too thin to handle any solid impact.
Other than that the design, layout and space of this micro quad make it easy to assemble, easy to maintain and easy to fly.
PRO'S
Take a full size receiver, so this micro quad can really get some amazing distance.
Easy to build so great for people looking to build and fly a micro quad from the ground, up.
Super agile and responsive, flies effortlessly.
Having a proper FC that can be tuned in Cleanflight or Betaflight is great and makes it interesting.
Size. Not quite a TinyWoop but can get through some pretty tight spots and can be flown with relative confidence indoors by a skilled pilot.
CON'S
Frame is way too thin. Recommend buying spares in case of breakages, luckily they're not very expensive.
Motor wires remain exposed at the bottom of the motors so any harsh landing or scraping will destroy them. Fitting some adhesive foam or hot-glue is recommended.
Frame is sharp so any supplied elastic bands keep snapping. Recommend sanding or filing edges (safely using water to prevent dust inhalation) to round the edges of the frame.
Out the box, the camera can really only be fitted flat so DIY skills are required to give the camera any tilt. A mounting that would give the camera a 20 or 30deg tilt would be great.
Battery is held in with an elastic band but flies out with small crashes, recommend fitting some velcro tape to battery and frame.
The 400Mah battery used in our test gives about 4:30 if flown to LVC but then battery is on about 3.2v, so recommend using 600Mah or 2S setup which can be jumped on these FC's.
