I understand that the woman I had at customs was just doing her job and looking back there were some things that I said that I probably shouldn't have. However, saying you are visiting your boyfriend who lives in a different country is always going to cause concern when you are crossing borders and she ended up being disrespectful in the words she chose. Unfortunately I just got the wrong woman at the wrong time.
Also, I am a very sensitive person as this was my first time traveling out of the country and alone. I don't have much life and cultural experiences, which is why I am so excited to finally be in the UK for this summer.
I only included the clip of me crying in the video, because I want to be real with you guys. Not everything is perfect all of the time in a LDR, but you never really get to see that. I honestly thought she wasn't going to let me through and I couldn't get ahold of some of my family as it was like 3am home time. So that was what I was upset about haha.
I was a little shaken up, but now all is well and I'm so happy to be with Jack again! I'll know how to be better prepared next trip :)
