Another Ultimate Collector Series model. This one has more pieces than the Super Star Destroyer and took longer to build. It is more of a play set than a display model, so I tried to showcase all the moving parts at the end of the video. I originally wanted to animate some scenes from the movies as well, but I soon realised that would take almost as long to film as the construction itself so if you want to see some Death Star scenes played out in Lego the you'll just have to buy the kit yourself! The kit also comes with 22 minifigs and something called a Dianoga, which is the creature that lives in the Death Star garbage masher.
Near the end of the video the brightness levels change quite a lot so it appears to flicker... I think this is because my garage door is not quite light-tight (so to speak) so when the sun shines just right my lighting conditions change. If I could be bothered I would probably alter the brightness of each of the raw images, but with over 5400 frames of animation that's a lot more work than I'm willing to put in!!
