Time-lapse build of the 2008 Lego Star Wars 10188: Death Star. This set has 3,803 pieces, and is absolutely massive, but a must-have for any serious Star Wars Lego fan. It's a complex and time-consuming build and took me 12 total hours spread out over 4 days. The finished model is HUGE and has 26 different minifigs (including 3 different Luke Skywalkers). The diorama-style interior is brilliantly detailed, with scenes from both Episode IV: A New Hope and Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
This build is from July 2013. Build time took 12 hours, shot on a Panasonic NV-GS500 mini-DV camera. Edited in Final Cut Pro, with final speed modification of 30,000%, giving a ratio of approx 1 hour = 20 seconds. It's a bit fast, but I wanted to squeeze in the photos and have it all fit to the music too...
