The male part can wiggle just 1mm back and forth in the female part and the laptop looses contact. Consequently the laptop switches between headphones and his normal speakers. But you can hear that the jack locks properly in place and it is even hard to disconnect again. I guess that the inside part of the headphone jack is not well anchored in his place.
