In this talk Emil Loer will introduce you to the wonderful world of software synthesizers. We will discuss the capabilities of the Web Audio API, a bit of synthesizer theory and combine this with some Ember to create a fully working synth. In order to keep the audio responsive a couple of performance optimisation techniques will also be introduced.
